I'm back at Lyttelton Market! 🇳🇿

My Melbourne trip happened so fast, and just like that it's all over. Now it's back to reality... and here I am! 😄

I'll be here from 9am–1pm, so pop on down and say hello!

Good morning, earthlings! ☀️

I'm down at Lyttelton today, my usual spot. Oh my goodness... it is SO windy today! 🌬️🙄 But the sun is shining, and we're meant to reach a high of 15°C, which feels pretty amazing for July.

I've shared a little video of my art process today. I'm at that awkward stage with my humpback whale where I'm procrastinating because I'm terrified of ruining it! 😅 So the woodburner has been put down... for now.

I will finish it, and I'll definitely share the final piece. I'm even hoping it might become a print if it turns out the way I'm imagining. 🤞

Mud, puddles, barriers and all... I'm here! 🤭☀️

A wee close-up of a couple of pieces I'm loving right now. The flying kererū is my second attempt at one in flight, and the white heron is a one-off that I'm really pleased with.

It's a bit messy underfoot at the market today, but the sun is there, somewhere lol and it's still a great day to be out.

Morning beautiful Earthlings! ☀️

A high of 20°C today in Lyttelton... whattttt?! It's June! 😳

Apparently it's supposed to get a bit windy too 😬 so the birds and I might be flying home... or perhaps flying off to new homes. 🤭

Here's a little look at the journey from blank timber to finished piece. I always love seeing how an idea slowly comes to life.
