When Graham delivered this fabulous French day bed, we understood the assignment: Buy a baguette, wear a beret, and pretend we’re tres chic. Whether or not we have pulled it off is yet to be decided, but we can confirm that everybody loves this wool mattress with hand sprung base and our red ticking stripe fabric.
Graham’s story is equally as interesting, with 30 years of history included in a photo album of sheep shearing and mattress making. Come and see it in store!

A little bedroom inspiration 💚

We love seeing a fabric used throughout a room- curtains, cushions, lampshades and all the little details that bring it together.

Thank you to these lovely homeowners for visiting Fabric House and choosing from our selection of fabrics!
We did a custom- made arrangement of single and double tracks, lined linen curtains, sheers and linen combos. Each window treatment was considered for how they use the house and where the light falls. Made to measure and installed by a local team here at Fabric House. Please extend a warm welcome to our new team member, Josie! Like all Fabric House staff, Josie has been with us once before, and is back to enjoy some quality banter about buckets and fabric. Josie has a textile design background and is one clever cookie/ style guru.

Please excuse our mess in store via the leaking roof, which is persisting now for 8 days and counting… Wet towels are not quite the fabric display we’re after but we’re doing our best to accessorise with the buckets!
