Tricia Hewlett is a local artist with a passion for sharing her skills and talent, and is a wonderful teacher!

She is launching an exciting new venture- The Peninsula Art Club.

Tricia will be offering classes in arts and crafts.
The classes are designed for a variety of age groups, and will take place in venues around Banks Peninsula, (including the Service Centre, local halls, and the Little River Inn.)

PAC (Peninsula Art Club) is a membership club.
A small fee ensures members get discounts on classes, the first chance to book, exclusive events, and regular communication.
Non-members are welcome too!

Head along to the launch on Thursday 25th of June, at the Little River Service Centre from 4.30 to 6 pm.

There will be drinks, snacks, a have-a-go table, spot prizes, including vouchers from us here at The Drawing Room, and information about the classes, future plans, and aspirations for members.

I have enjoyed classes with Tricia in the past and know these will be a lot of fun!

"Unreal Canterbury" is currently on at The Eastside Gallery

This exhibition brings together 11 artists whose works tilt the familiar, unsettle the expected, and reimagine the region.

Across painting, sculpture, photography, moving image, textile and monoprints, the exhibition invites viewers to consider not only what this place is, but what it has been, what it might become, and the versions of it we carry within us.

Floor talks with the Curator will take place every Saturday at 11am.
