A huge thank you to everyone who has visited and knitted at our Community Knits over the time I’ve been in the background. It’s all made the last two weeks a very easy transition to be back! And back I am!

Strut Your Stuff is only a few weeks away. Everyone who has registered will hear from me again before the end of the weekend. We’re still accepting garments to be shared, pop me a messsge with your email address and I’ll flick you an email with more information 🧶❤️🧶

We have closer to 100 raffle prizes this year, thank you to everyone who has donated goodies. $5 gets you 3 numbers.

Our Christmas luncheon is on Sunday the 29th of November 12pm at the Village Green. Let us know if you are going to join us. We’ve a lot to celebrate this year. Our community being top of the list!

Next year we kick off with our now famous Persian Tiles Crochet A Long. A newsletter is heading out this weekend to those who haven’t received it. Thank you to everyone who has confirmed you are crocheting along with us. We’re flicking you a note this weekend too ❤️🧶❤️

There has been some really cool designs knitted lately. Mentoring of crochet taking place, and thanks to my Aunty Leonie, a new ‘toy’ to play with!

If you have registered for our Persian Tiles Crochet A Long & haven’t heard from us, don’t fear. There’s seems to be a technical glitch. We’re working on it & you should hear from us over the next couple of days ❤️🧶❤️. Thanks for your patience.

Today we need to share with you our newest member of our Crofters Yarn Community.

Agi the Sheep by Cinthia Vallet & knitted by our very clever Bronwyn.

Isn’t she just adorable, she’s knitted in one piece, carefully sculptured then dressed in her beautiful dress, woolly coat and topped off with her bag, a bag that’s big enough for a very fun adventure at Crofters Yarn ❤️🧶❤️

If you’d like to meet Agi, she’s at Crofters Yarn with the doors open 10 to 12 today.

We’re then at Toitu for a Community Knit 1 to 3pm.

We’ll have our Charity Knitting basket of wool with us at Toitu.

In the studio this week all our *balls of wool have 15% off them. Our printed patterns are all $5 each.

We are open Saturday this long weekend for a Community Knit 10 to 1pm & it’s our last sale day.

A couple of shawls missing this week, but aren’t these ones incredible? We’ve outgrown the table & migrated to the floor.

We’re predicting some mighty knitting for clue 4, our last week! However we will have a couple extra meet ups before the end of this project. There’s soooo much knitting!!

You will find us in the studio today 10 to 12pm, then 12:30 to 3pm.

We then head off to a Community Knit at Arthur St School Library 6:30 to 8:30pm. You’re welcome to join us ❤️🧶❤️

Tomorrow we’re in the studio 10 to 12pm, then meet at Toitu 1 to 3pm. You are also most welcome to join us there too.

Saturday we are open 10 to 1pm, then we’re all off to enjoy a long relaxing Labour weekend. Do you take your crafting with you when you head out of town? We most certainly do 🧶❤️🧶

Persian Tiles Crochet Blanket by Jane Crowe. Did you know our first class for 2027 is a crochet along for this magnificent blanket?

If you have registered your interest you should have an email in your inbox from the beginning of October asking you to complete the next stage. If you’ve not seen that email, please send me a message and we’ll resend it.

Thank you for all your support during Saturdays Community Knit. We had a lovely group of woolly creators join us.
