Before the week comes to an end I would like to say a big thank you to Te Punaka Ōwheo | Otago Polytechnic for allowing me to be apart of their celebrations of Te wiki o te reo Māori at Otago Polytechnic, showcasing the craft of Manu tukutuku and embracing our Reo with plenty of mahi toi, rāranga with Lucy, kite making and of course plenty of Kai to bring us all together.

it is with create pleasure that i am able to create, showcase and share our beautiful and thriving culture through the form of wearable, visual and performing arts pieces.

i am just a young wāhine Māori from Te Whānau-A-Apānui trying to leave not only my foot print on this earth but also the foot print of all my Tīpuna that stood on this very earth before.
