Just like that, we are now one month old as a small business 🥹🎉

If you're new to our page, welcome! I'm Kelly Blackwell and I'm the adoring owner of this pretty little slice of Treble Court here in Tūranganui-a-Kiwa. I'm your friendly local gamer nerd/metalhead/creative/grown-up tomboy type of Gizzy kid of Ngāti Porou decent.

In the mornings you'll catch me proudly working at Gisborne Library before our shop opening at 12.30pm and you'll otherwise catch me cooing over a creative project/book/coffee/game/cool bug I found 💁🏽‍♀️🪲

Here at Craftwell Supply Studio we have had a really wonderful start to new business ownership with so many lovely locals of all backgrounds stopping by with enthusiastic well wishes and support - thank you to each and every one who has stopped by!

Moving forward in business we are so looking forward to hosting workshops and events now that the school holidays are buttoned up, so keep an eye on our socials for those details coming soon 👀📆

Week one blurred by beautifully for our brand new small business 🛍💞

We're Craftwell Supply Studio and we are so grateful to everyone who stopped by to support our little pastel coloured dream come true - we hope to become a regular stop in spot for both our familiar and new found crafty friends.

We welcome you to come in with your DIY projects and enjoy our space and good vibes, we're excited to sample some new products this week and get crafty too (admin can wait, right?) 👀😇

We're open Sundays too from 10am-3pm, and have our current open hours below for those still keen to have a no pressure nosy:

My big sister Shelley, the brains and beauty behind Read.Carry, gave me my first ever book as a kid - deepening my love for all things bookish.

It's no surprise that Shelley also runs an online book group, makes beautiful handmade book sleeves and sells second hand books 📚✨️

Kia ora Craftwell whānau,

Thanks so much for all of your words of advice, encouragement and straight up hype for the opening of our new lil Treble Court arts and crafts shop 👩🏽‍🎨💞

Although we're hoping to open by the end of January there is so much to sort and settle and suss out as folks who are certainly crafty, but brand new to the retailer world.

We're prioritising taking a little extra time to set things up well in business but in the meantime, we can't wait to share our bright and colourful space with you all.

Keep an eye out for an announcement open day event in the next couple of weeks 📆🤞🏽

We'd like to extend a heartfelt mihi to the big Aotearoa wholesalers that have taken a chance on our little Gizzy business, and especially to all of our beautiful friends and whānau who have taken up everything from baby sitting our girl through to assembling all manner of bright and colourful bits and bobs 👀✨️

All thanks to the talented team at who have created an absolute masterpiece with both our handmade shelves and our upcycled shelf (shout out to Ata from Facebook Marketplace for letting it go 😆👏🏽)

Now to wait for the paint to harden so that we can actually stock them lol, watch this space e te whānau.

Buckle up Gizzy 👷‍♀️⛲️

We're Kelly and Jake, the new(ish) neighbours here in Treble Court - an iconic and increasingly bustling space here in Tūranganui-a-Kiwa Gisborne New Zealand.

Kelly (Ngāti Porou) is taking the plunge and packaging their passion for arts and crafts into a retail shop and studio space here at 27 Peel Street (formerly Age Concern 💞).

You might recognise her friendly smiley face from:

Meanwhile Jake brings his wealth of free time (whatever that is) and gentlemanly forced labour to help Kelly set up her 15 year strong dream come true 🥹👏🏽
