CANDELA DESIGN

INTERIOR & DESIGN STUDIO Back in the days Candela was the standard measurement for luminous intensity, which was based on the brightness of the flame from a candle. In England this is known as candlepower. Today we usually refer to lumens and the "kelvin" scale, which measures the brightness and temperature of light. Candela became the name of our design studio, due to our passion for light and emphasis on the fact that light is important in every design. We offer our clients a bespoke design service where we tailor every project to suit your needs whether you're building new, renovating or restyling. Our office is based in Hamilton East, but we are more often visiting you in your space. Established in 2017, Candela Design is run by Chrissie, Kiwi national based in Hamilton.

Chrissie brings structure to the interior design process.She works closely with the team, trades and clients to ensure all projects are delivered flawlessly from brief to finish. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she brings new ideas and fresh thinking to all our projects at Candela Design. Chrissie is passionate about function and quality that will last for generations.
