An afternoon with the tulips: this Sunday 2pm at my flower farm.

There is nothing like being spontaneous during Spring on the West Coast! I have been waiting for a sunny Sunday during the main tulip flush of spring and it is here. So clear your schedule, dig out your sunhat and clean your favourite vase!

The tulip season is so fleeting, we are already over halfway through, so here is your invitation to experience behind-the-scenes of your vaseful of flowers.

Join me this Sunday afternoon to see where and how they are grown, pick some stems yourself and arrange and wrap them up with some other spring ingredients from the flower field. This is a very relaxed, chatty, flowery afternoon where you will leave with a big bunch of tulips and your social, creative cup filled up.

There will be coffee, tea and some baking to nibble on and I will also have some summer seedlings available if you are have any gaps in your own garden to fill.

Tickets are $60 and you can book your spot on my website, link in bio.

I hope to see you there!

Wedding flowers.

I just realised these March wedding honeys had not made it onto the grid yet! Some of my absolute fave wedding bouqs for a fave beauty, Abi.

It is dahlia dividing time right now, and also summer wedding admin time for me, so these sweet designs are on my mind! The last pic is me on double duty for A&D as celebrant and florist 💅🏻

If you’re getting married, you probably need me 😽 dm or head to my website to enquire!

The tulips are coming - and you get to be first in line!

These are premium, quality tulip varieties. The bulbs are grown in NZ, ordered, chilled, planted, cared for and harvested by me, with the bulb attached, to give you the best tulip experience in the vase.

❤︎ You will receive four bunches of tulips over four weeks.

❤︎ Your flowers will be delivered on Thursday mornings (delivery is included to Greymouth addresses or please message to arrange pick up or out-of-town delivery).

❤︎ Your first bunch of tulips should be with you at the start of September, depending on Mother Nature. I will confirm the date for you closer to the time via email.

❤︎ Please make sure you leave a bucket or a vase of clean water out if you will not be home.

❤︎ If you are away on a delivery day, you will need to organise someone to collect your flowers for you, or gift them to a friend.

Go on, treat yourself!

Thank you for supporting my locally grown, seasonal flowers.

Some highlights from two days of school holiday art classes here in the studio at the flower farm. 🌾

Not everyone here knows I am an art teacher, having studied Fine Arts at Ilam long before I opened a seed packet or cut a flower! My favourite and most formative job was teaching Painting and Photography at St. Pat’s College, Silverstream, straight out of uni. How lucky I am to have been there when I was. 💫

I do pop up around town now and then for Greymouth Primary school projects, often murals and some relieving too, so you may have seen me in my painting pants, away from the field! 🧡

Phoebe Walker is my little school holiday art program which has been in hibernation since having our third baby, but it’s back! I’m just looking at an trialing an after school session too so keep an eye out for a call for EOIs there. ☀️

We will be back during the first week of the September holidays again so watch this space! 😽
