A few weeks ago, Marc a friend from Precision Building Solutions Limited got in touch about a flooring project he needed help with. His plan was to keep costs down by offering to handle the floor preparation at zero cost.
As we talked, Marc shared his gratitude for the Dogwatchers and the incredible work they stand for. That struck a chord with me. My first dog was a rescue, so this was a cause close to home, and I was more than happy to jump on board.
It was awesome to see the level of volunteer workers involved. While money is always a key factor in keeping organisations like this running, there’s also a constant need for property maintenance, whether it’s plumbing, electrical, building, or in this case, flooring.
If you’re a tradesman and want to do something similar, head over to one of these organisations and offer your skills. They’ll appreciate it more than you think, and you’ll walk away knowing you’ve contributed to something truly meaningful.
