Great to see another Escape glass creation being presented to such a deserving person as recognition of his outstanding contribution.
A huge congratulations to Lindsay Wright for his well-deserved recognition in the Kings Birthday Honours list. Lindsay was awarded the King's Service Medal for services to rural communities and mental health.
Lindsay has only recently stepped down from the Southland Rural Support Trust (SRST) after many years of support in both operational and governance roles
Linday was instrumental in the development of the Good Yarn workshops and served on the Good Programmes Trust board helping get the workshops embedded nationwide for good mental health outcomes. He is still regularly involved in running these workshops and feedback from one of his recent workshops showed just how valuable his contribution has been. When asked what could be improved one participant commented - 'Nothing Lindsay is a great presenter of information, well planned and the info was spot on.'
