Yes, it’s official we are OPEN!

It’s taken lots of hard work (and a few long days!) but I’m so happy to finally be open and to see my new space come together. It’s warm, inviting, spacious and, of course a little bit quirky!
If you’re in the area, I’d love for you to pop in and say hi. You’ll find me just 3 stores into Marama Arcade of Te Heuheu Street.

I’ve been a little quiet lately because I’ve been working all hours behind the scenes getting my new store in Taupō ready and it’s finally starting to take shape and come together beautifully!

In case you didn’t already know, a lovely selection of my products are also available in Petone at Goody Goodness. My dear friend Avelyn has created such a joyful store on Jackson Street. If you haven’t visited yet, it’s well worth popping in, she is wonderful at showcasing local artisans, you’re sure to find some lovely and unique items!

To everyone who has emailed me about the calendar misprint, your replacement calendars will be sent out on Monday. I really do appreciate your kindness and understanding.

We have arrived in beautiful Taupō!
We are busy organising and getting everything ready for our new store, which will be right in the town centre. It has been quite a big job moving both our business and our life, but we are so excited for this new adventure and fresh start!
All going to plan, our new store will be opening at the end of the month, or shortly after. I’ll keep you updated along the way and share some photos as the store starts to take shape.

IMPORTANT: about the 2027 calendars:
If you have purchased a calendar, please email me at: [email protected]. Unfortunately, there is a date misprint in December. As soon as I receive the corrected calendars, I will send one out to you.
Again, I am so, so sorry about this, thank you all so much for being incredibly understanding, it really has helped a lot.

I’m looking forward to sharing my Taupō journey and hopefully very soon, welcoming you into our new store!

An important and very sorry update about my 2027 calendar.
I have some difficult news to share.

I have just discovered that the dates printed for December 2027 in my calendar are incorrect.

I am absolutely devastated to have discovered this, I’m so sorry to everyone who has bought one and trusted me to get it right.
I want to make this right.

If you have purchased my 2027 calendar, I will send you a corrected replacement.

Please email me at: [email protected] with your address or the address of the person you have gifted it to and I will send it asap.

I am genuinely sorry for this mistake. I know how disappointing it is to buy something and then discover there is an error in it, and I am doing everything I can to sort this out as quickly and easily as possible.

Help me find a wonderful new workplace for Sonja!

For over two years, Sonja has been a much loved and vital part of my team at Ellen G in Petone. Customers have described her as warm, delightful and incredibly helpful and I couldn’t agree more!

Sonja is kind, honest, reliable, hardworking and self motivated. She builds genuine relationships with people, is fantastic working independently, wonderfully organised and meticulous, while also being a great team player. She has played a huge part in the success of my business, and I’m genuinely sad that I can’t take her with me following the closure of Ellen G in Petone to relocate to Taupo.

She is looking for a part time role of around 15-20 hours per week, ideally in Petone or Lower Hutt.
