Anna Jarvis choose the carnation because it was her mother's favourite flower - in 1908, Jarvis initiated Mother's Day, and distributed carnations to attendees at the first official service in the USA.

Today we honoured our kindy Mum's, where the kids helped arrange small posies to celebrate with them 💐
