💚 Mix It Forward® with Te Kōhanga Reo O Te Awhi Mai 💚
I recently had the privilege of meeting with Tina and the team at Te Kōhanga Reo O Te Awhi Mai to share the Mix It Forward® initiative from Thermomix® New Zealand and learn more about the incredible mahi they do for tamariki and whānau.
What I love most about this initiative is that it's not really about a Thermomix®. It's about recognising and supporting the people who give so much of themselves to our communities every day. The kaiako, volunteers, whānau, and supporters who work tirelessly behind the scenes to nurture our tamariki, strengthen connections, and create opportunities for future generations.
Spending time with Tina and learning more about the incredible mahi happening at Te Kōhanga Reo O Te Awhi Mai was both humbling and inspiring. It reminded me of the power of community and the difference that can be made when people come together with a shared purpose.
A huge thank you to Thermomix® New Zealand for creating opportunities like Mix It Forward®. I'm incredibly grateful to be part of a programme that supports grassroots organisations and gives back to those who spend so much of their time giving to others.
Through Mix It Forward®, organisations like Te Kōhanga Reo O Te Awhi Mai have the opportunity to receive a refurbished TM6® to support their kaupapa. Whether that's helping prepare meals, supporting volunteers, reducing kitchen workload, or assisting with fundraising initiatives, it's a practical way of supporting the important work already being done.
