A beautiful bluebird day in the National park, I took the reference photo when I was out scanning cows in the autumn a few years back. Finally got round to turning it into a painting!

'Mangaotaki Rush hour' - typical scenes from rural Piopio. This was a quick snap on my phone after a days work up the road. They are often not the best photos, but can really be brought to life with a paint brush!
This painting is framed in Rimu and both original and prints are available

One of the first dog portraits I painted. This old girl came to me for her final years and taught me a thing or two.
I have since painted a good number of working dogs as commission pieces, but I have prints available of this one 'Jewel'.

North Otago drought - captures a stormy sky rolling past a parched landscape. Loved the dramatic lighting in this one. The original has been sold but prints are available.

Another beautiful South Island scene 'Hunter Valley straggle Muster' is off for scanning to be added to my website as a print. The original will be available once framed.
A huge thank you to the Townsends for the reference photos! Mosy of my painting references come from photos I take on my phone when out on the farm, but I never take enough! And I love a change in scenery 😍

Hoping to make a Rimu frame for this newly finished piece.
I was lucky enough to be given a few beautiful reference images from the South Island. This one shows the team heading out to mark calves in the Greenstone Valley.
