Happy Sunday everyone ✨️

This is a little custom toddler apron i made a couple of weeks back.
I loved working with this sweet pink floral 🌸
The customer asked for a white pocket with the floral and left the rest to me and I think it came out pretty cute 😍
Another beautiful fabric given new life ♥️

The process is simple:
1) Send me a pm with what you're thinking
2) I send you some fabric options
3) You decide on what you love ❤️ plus any extras or requests
4) I make it, send you a photo and postage and payment sorted
5) It gets posted (or pick up arranged)
6) It is worn and loved 😍

This flower crown found its new home at my last market.
It was a beautiful moment seeing the huge smile on the young lady's face and was the sweetest reminder of why I love creating handmade pieces so much. 💖

A little behind-the-scenes today ✨️

Running a sewing business isn’t just about pretty fabric and trims.
It’s also about caring for the tools that make it all possible.

Today was all about my sewing machine, oiling parts, changing needles, cleaning out lint (so much lint 😅), and giving my Elna some well-earned TLC.

A well cared for machine means stronger stitches, smoother sewing, and aprons made to last ❤️

There’s something really special about slowing down and looking after the tools that help create handmade pieces every day.

One of my favourite things about sewing with preloved fabrics is wondering about the life they had before they reached me ✨

Maybe they were once curtains in a sunny kitchen.
Maybe a tablecloth at family dinners.
Maybe tucked away carefully in someone’s sewing basket for years.

I always think about the women before us who made, mended, baked, gardened, raised families, created beauty from very little, and somehow made ordinary things feel special 🤍

There’s something comforting about giving these fabrics a second life instead of letting them be forgotten.

Every apron i create carries a little bit of that nostalgia with it... warm kitchens, handwritten recipes, washing on the line, cups of tea, and slower days.
