Timeless, textural, and always surprising—these are trees that earn their place.

One of the things I enjoy most about creating gardens and homes is watching spaces evolve over time and become part of people’s everyday rituals and memories.

Timelessness will always matter more to me than trends.

A platform that brings together a considered global voice in contemporary design.

This home was about creating a sense of balance…
spaces that can feel calm and relaxed day to day, but also hold a bit of occasion when needed.

We spent a lot of time thinking about how people actually live —
how a home can shift between moments… from slow Sundays to evenings with friends.

It’s always a privilege to see this work captured and understood so thoughtfully on a global stage.

Autumn is the season that reminds me why I plant trees.

The light softens, the leaves begin their quiet transformation, and suddenly the garden feels alive in a completely different way. Every year I find myself standing still for a moment, looking up through the branches, a little in awe of it all.

From the tiniest Japanese maple to the grandest oak, trees have the power to shape a garden — and the lives lived within it.

Autumn is one of the best times to plant. The soil is still warm, the rains return, and trees can settle quietly into the earth before the growth of spring begins again.

And no matter where you live, there is always a tree that will colour beautifully. Even in warmer parts of the country, there are species that will surprise you with their autumn glow.

Planting a tree is one of the most generous things you can do in a garden. It’s a gift to the future — shade, beauty, habitat, and a sense of permanence.

Some of these images are glimpses of gardens we are imagining and designing at the moment — reminders of how powerful a well-placed tree can be.

Every great garden begins with a tree.
