From the starting point… to the glow-up ✨

This 3-seater was given a fresh new look with a custom slipcover - a great option for furniture.

The key? A really good fit.

A slip cover should sit beautifully on the piece, not slip and slide around every time you take a seat!

We also replaced the foam and refilled the cushions, bringing back shape and comfort, before finishing it all off in the customer’s gorgeous Liberty of London fabric.

Fresh, comfortable and ready to be enjoyed all over again 🤍

This one was a unique delivery that needed a bit of creative problem-solving to get an oversized custom headboard all the way to Christchurch - and then through the doorway and up the stairs!

Want to join us for our September & October Open Classes?

In the Beginners Open Class, you'll learn a whole heap of upholstery skills, have access to professional upholstery tools and equipment, and have heaps of fun! At the end of the course you'll have a beautiful, one-of-a-kind, upholstered-by-you piece of furniture to take home. During this two-day class, you'll gain heaps of knowledge and the skills to be able to complete your next project - because we're 100% sure that once you do a class with us, you'll catch the upholstery bug!

A little love for one of the less glamorous (but very handy!) upholstery essentials. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our Dust Cloth is used to finish off the bottom of chairs and sofas, giving your project a tidy, professional finish - while helping keep things from falling out… or climbing in! 👀

Also known as underlining, bottom cloth, bottoming or dust cover, it’s one of the many upholstery supplies available from Bec’s Shed.
