In artist Lorna Allan's own words; This is north of Dunedin on the Coast Road between Evansdale and Karitane. The road here is narrow and winding, there are a number of places where you can see the far headland, but not the rest. It can only be seen as you go through a tight right-hand curve in the road, hence the name of my painting "Southern Secrets" acrylic on canvas 80 x 50cm. Available at Otautau Gallery.
