Kete, kete, and more kete!

We are thrilled to announce that we've completed our commission order of 80 kete for a conference in Auckland. This was 40 more after our first photo post, plus missing mums extra 20.

We're incredibly proud of the effort both JP Creations NZ Mum and I put into this project. Despite balancing kids, life, and our regular weaving, we did it!

This was a fantastic learning experience for me, especially with dying the harakeke. I’ll have to experiment with other creations now.

No rest for the wicked—I have another commission order to finish by July 😅

It's been quite a while since my last post. Life has been incredibly busy, but I'm hopeful it'll slow down in June... fingers crossed 🤞🏻

JP Creations NZ Janine Pokiha Mum and I are currently tackling a massive commission order of 80 kete for a conference 😱 We've finished the first 20 and are nearly done with the next 20.

Adding color to the remaining 40 is both exciting and a new learning process for me. . I can't wait to see how they turn out! Keep your eyes peeled 👀

These kete, woven with harakeke and echoing the spirit of Papatūānuku, become elegant gift baskets, handbag or shopping kete! It's a harmonious blend of natural essence into a practical and portable form 😍

Happy New Year to you all. I hope everyone is well and glad to be back to routine again! Yay 🥳 I know I am.

Im back on the mahi waka, market planning and content creating! This year is going to be a busy one with mahi and whānau life. My months are definitely getting pretty full 🥳

Thank you to all my beautiful customers who have purchased a Doll wahakura or Newborn wahakura from me these past few years, honestly just an awesome feeling to help create a special taonga for our babies.

I'm looking forward to a new year and gaining more weaving knowledge!
