Be your own Boss, Coffee Maker, Book Keeper & Sales Rep
Be your own Boss and your skillsets include excellent people communications, a creative who’s good at maths, enjoy design & colour, the ability to problem solve, with a thirst for ongoing education & knowledge in this creative industry.
I’m into Pina Coladas & partial Retirement so I am now putting my business of 18 years up for sale. Presently only doing around 25 hours or less over 4 days per week though I could possibly work for eight/nine hours five or six days a week (yeah nah).
Located on Palm Nth’s Square within the Iconic arts hub building ‘Square Edge’ you have a mix of loyal repeat clientele, artists, and other customers that are predominately ‘word of mouth’ referrals, all who seek out quality framing that this boutique business offers.
I am still offering picture framing tuition services in Palm Nth or by arrangement I can come to your workshop.
Think about it & then come have a chat

A talented photographer is Dean Giddens and I had the pleasure of framing this artwork using the almost "invisible" AR70 glass for the ultimate viewing experience.

Framed print of Screaming Sands off to its new home tomorrow! A Foxton Beach print heading back home to Foxton Beach, printed by me and beautifully framed by Keith from Art of Framing.

I had the pleasure of framing 'Mermaid' for the very talented Alice Fennessy. I made an extender to a base frame which increased the overall depth allowing her artwork to be floated in a sea of gorgeous blue. We used Glasslines Artglass AR70 glass which I call 'Almost Invisible' allowing the veiwer an uninterrupted observation into artwork

celebrating you today and your amazing talent. Alice has produced this wonderful surreal drawing for the Blue group exhibition at UTOPIA titled Mermaid. Alice also has some beautiful drawings on display in the Now exhibition looking at current local artists living and creating in the Manawatu area. Come in and see us today, open until 3pm.

This could be one of my bigger 'framing' jobs that I'll ever tackle:) Being a qualified builder in a previous life I put my hand up to help my daughter & son-in-law do some work at their grain silos complex. This frame measures 14.4 meters long X 5.6 meters high & only took me less than a smoko break to knock up 🙂. After the sun, rain & wind it will be nice to get back into my cozy studio. After this job any large pieces of artwork that come into my studio will be a piece of cake...

I'm still on a 'working' holiday just down the road on Gillespies Line helping out on daughter Gen & son-in-law Dion at their DGF Group Grain Silo Complex. Here's me on the scissor lift looking as though I know what I'm doing :). My lovely wife Bernadette will be in the studio tomorrow Saturday and Tuesday for you to pick up your artworks & help you with design consults.
As they say 'It's a pretty big job mate'. (Hope to be back at my real job one day).
