Love your floors? Look after them!

The right cleaning products can make all the difference to keeping your floors looking as good as the day they were laid.

The Quick-Step Cleaning Kit makes everyday floor care quick and easy, with a spray mop, 1L cleaning concentrate and washable microfibre mop head, all in one kit.

The clever refillable spray system dispenses just the right amount of cleaning solution, helping you avoid the excess water that can cause swelling or warping. No heavy bucket, no soaking-wet floors, and the solution dries within minutes.

Designed specifically for Quick-Step flooring and also suitable for other laminate and timber floors.

Pop into Flooring Xtra Palmerston North and ask our team about the best way to care for your floors.

A great local project to be part of.

We loved working alongside Wood Robson Homes on the new NZ Post Palmerston North Hub on Church Street, helping bring this fresh new central city space to life.

Our team installed luxury vinyl plank and carpet tile, creating a practical, hard-wearing finish designed to handle the demands of a busy everyday space.

It’s always a pleasure working alongside other great local businesses and seeing the finished result come together.

Thanks to the team at Wood Robson Homes for having us on board.

School holidays mean a lot more life happening on the floor.

Playing, crawling, sprawling out in front of a movie, plus the inevitable spills and muddy footprints.

So it’s good to know that all of the kid-friendly carpet options we sell at Flooring Xtra are made from non-toxic materials, giving your little ones a safe place to play and explore.

And because family flooring needs to be practical too, there are durable, stain-resistant and easy-clean options designed to cope with the realities of busy homes.

Soft enough for playtime. Tough enough for family life.

Flooring in Focus: A fresh new look from the floor up.

We recently had the pleasure of completing the flooring for this beautifully transformed home on Saint Albans Avenue in Hokowhitu.

For the hard flooring, Native 4.5mm Luxury Vinyl Plank in Clear Oak was chosen, bringing a warm, natural timber look through the home. This was paired with a 55oz solution dyed nylon carpet, adding softness and comfort to the bedrooms.

Together, they create a warm, cohesive foundation that works beautifully with the home’s fresh, contemporary interior.

“A massive thank you to Sue and the team at Flooring Xtra. Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Friendly, helpful, professional and nothing was ever a problem.
The whole process was easy, the communication was great, and we couldn’t be happier with the finished result. Would 100% recommend Sue and the team to anyone looking for flooring.”

– Blair, homeowner

We love seeing a project come together like this, and the finished result looks fantastic.
