It has been a minute since I properly said hello, and with so many new friendly faces around here, it felt like time to reintroduce myself.
Hi, I’m Indy. Im the owner and florist behind Petal & Posy Florals, working from my home studio creating florals for celebrations, weddings, everyday deliveries, funerals, and everything in between.
I started Petal & Posy back in mid-2023 while still working another job, and began my cut flower patch not long after. Growing my own flowers during spring and summer was a great way to keep things affordable and add something extra special to my bunches.
It wasn’t until late 2024, when I was pregnant with my daughter, that I knew I wanted this to become my full-time gig so I could be more present at home. That was also around the time we quickly ran out of space in the raised garden beds, so naturally, we started ripping up the lawn to make room for more blooms.
Fast forward to now, and Petal & Posy is officially my full-time world. Between tending to my cut flower garden, arranging bouquets & orders, running the roadside stand, setting up wedding florals, and chasing after my little girl, my days are full and busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
