OUR GUIDE TO UNDERLAY 🏡

The carpet gets all the attention, but what’s underneath matters too.

Underlay sits between your carpet and the floor, helping to provide:

🦶 Comfort — giving your carpet that softer, more luxurious feel underfoot.

🔇 Sound reduction — helping to absorb noise and make rooms feel quieter.

🛡️ Support — providing a stable base for your carpet and helping it perform as it should.

✨ Appearance — good quality underlay can help your carpet look and feel better, while supporting its performance over time.

But not all underlay is the same. Different carpets, rooms and lifestyles can call for different types and thicknesses.

So when you're choosing new carpet, don't forget to ask about what's going underneath it too.

The right carpet + the right underlay = a better flooring combination. 🤍

Pop in and see us — we're happy to talk you through the options.

New carpet, new habits. 🧼✨

A little care can go a long way when it comes to keeping your new carpet looking its best.

Every carpet manufacturer has their own care and cleaning recommendations, so it’s always worth checking those first before tackling a spill or giving your carpet a deep clean. Different fibres, textures and finishes can call for different approaches.

A few simple habits can help keep your carpet looking fresh for longer:
🧹 Regular vacuuming
👟 Removing shoes where possible
🧽 Tackling spills promptly
📋 Following the manufacturer’s care instructions

New carpet deserves a little love — and it’ll thank you for it! 🤍

🐑 Our Guide to Wool Carpet

Thinking about wool carpet for your home? Here are a few reasons it’s such a popular choice:

🌿 Natural – Wool is a natural, renewable fibre with a beautiful, timeless look.

👣 Comfortable – Soft, warm and luxurious underfoot.

🌡️ Naturally insulating – Wool has natural insulating properties, helping create a warm and comfortable home.

🔥 Naturally flame resistant – Wool has natural fire-resistant properties compared with many synthetic fibres.

🧹 Easy to care for – With regular vacuuming and the right care, wool carpet can look beautiful for years.

🇳🇿 And of course… there’s something pretty special about choosing wool in New Zealand.

October is NZ Wool Month, so what better time to explore the benefits of wool carpet? 🐑 Pop in and take advantage of our October wool carpet specials — we’d love to help you find the perfect one for your home.
