When went back to knitting I was so aware that everything just seemed to cost more more money. And yes it’s nice to have the bougie accessories. But this is what I call the knitting essentials box. It has all the little bits and pieces you need to really get started besides your needles and Jan and it’s perfect for Travelers or beginners.

I knew that if I was going to start colour work I had to start it through play. I had a little play about six months ago but then I got too serious and it stressed me out so I decided that I would commit to doing a full garment where I pretty much free-form the entire thing from the pattern to the patterns inside the colour work to the structure of it and then break rules to break out of my everything has to be measured out perfectly roll and purposely do patterns that are more randomised don’t have a perfection about them to really push against my fears around knitting needing to be a perfect end product all the time.. What’s happened to me is it’s helped me grow my confidence it’s become my obsession over the last few days and I’ve really enjoyed it. Play is how I learn and play as how I test out new knitting skills
