For those of you who saw my reel about playing with colourwork in my crazy mohair vest… this is now take two.
I’m still playing.
But this time there are a few boundaries and rules.
Cos I feel ready for them
I’m still free handing my design
But this time I’m using a pattern I know and love well ( the novice sweater from petite knit) and just playing with different ideas for each yoke increase
It means I have different maths to do to work out patterns.
I’m using a divine yarn ( thanks Yarn Phase) which makes it so much more enjoyable
Playing, relaxing into a pattern you know then extending learning within in - it’s a really great way to learn.
