Meet our official welcoming committee for the Kāpiti Coast Art Trail | New Zealand event 🤖🦾. These awesome little guys are the work of the very clever Jim of jimsbots.
We are lucky to stock a range of these upcycled sculptural artworks in store. You can visit Jim’s incredible workshop this weekend and next as a participating artist in the trail. Come and pickup your program if you don’t already have one yet - it’s gonna be a great event!! 🤖💚🙌

Two precious pieces making me happy today 🙌🧚‍♂️💫. This solid cast brass Edwardian plant stand - the details are magic! And this antique ceramic holy water font - my entire catholic schooling education has literally flashed before my eyes 😉 this would be delightful with a candle 🕯️ in it. 💚✨🧚‍♂️

It’s the start of the Kāpiti Coast Art Trail | New Zealand this weekend - such an incredible showcase of the remarkable local talent 🙌💚✨. At House of Puck we are hosting a local artist for the duration of the event. This collection of charcoal, pastel and watercolour artworks are by local Maurice Jensa, a self taught artist, he has never shown his art. I love his gentle way of capturing movement and skilful use of charcoal to reveal details in these beautiful originals.

Festival time in Raumati Village tomorrow. The sun ☀️ will be shining it’s going to be great! Pop down to enjoy the music, food and vibes. We will be serving our famous homemade lemonade at House of Puck just in case you need a little refreshment. 🍋😝🙌🧚‍♂️

Time for another little before and after as I sometimes forget to capture all the pieces I work on. This one is for the lovers of whimsy. This piece was an absolute joy to reimagine, from the folk art mural I painted to the reveal of the timber details and selecting just the right fabric for the top. A ton of storage in this neat old blanket box, also exceptionally cool as a coffee table. 🧚‍♂️💚🙌🤍

Well it’s been an awesome week ☀️🧚‍♂️🙌. Thank you to all the beautiful humans who visited House of Puck this week, and who invited me into their homes. I am still working through new stock, so lots more to show you - but for now checkout this super sweet collection of old spoons 🥄 so whimsical. What in the ladies bring a plate is going on here?! 😝 The afternoon light was so pretty yesterday as I was about to race out the door I had to capture this. Lots of sparkly magic on this table I’m still putting together. These pieces look like Puck and his fairy 🧚🏽 crew have collected. Cake stands, compotes, jugs and little vessels en masse. Happy Friday everyone 🤍🙌🧚‍♂️🫧

Today’s vignette is making my heart sing 💚 with more incredible new pieces:
A mid century armchair with a Warwick stripe sits happily with a limited edition House of Puck cushion. The Edwardian oak cake stand is perfection, I have teamed it with a collection of Bordallo Portuguese green plates that I am trying my hardest to resist 😝. The nut bowl and anvil are so special- turned by a very clever woodworker featuring all NZ native timbers. How about the dreamy vintage print and side table - 💚🙌🧚‍♂️
