Blinds not tilting the way they should?

Sometimes it's just one small part causing the problem.

On this recent job, the tilt chain had worn out, leaving the blinds unable to rotate properly. We replaced the chain, and everything was working as it should again.

It's a good reminder that a blind that stops working doesn't always need replacing. Sometimes a simple repair is all it takes.

Venetian blind hanging crooked or getting harder to lift?

Before you think about replacing the whole blind, it’s worth checking whether it can be repaired.

Worn or damaged cords are a common cause of Venetian blinds lifting unevenly or getting stuck. In many cases, a restring can get things working properly again without the cost of replacing the entire blind.

Measure the width at the top, middle, and bottom of the window, and the height from the frame to wherever you want it to end. If the numbers come out slightly different, go with the smallest one.

We'll always remeasure properly on site before anything's ordered, this is just to give you a ballpark to start with.

Curtains looking a bit tired?

That little issue with your curtains or blinds is worth getting checked.

A sticking track, worn cord, or blind that’s getting harder to use can often be a straightforward fix when it’s caught early. Leave it too long, and a small repair can sometimes turn into a bigger job.
