This is my last workshop date for 2026
BOUQUET WORKSHOP
Saturday 28th November 10 till 12noon $90
Come to my studio in Pahoia on the outskirts of Tauranga to create a lush relaxed garden style bouquet.
All flowers will be picked from my flower farm, so your flowers will be so fresh they will last weeks.
We will have a chat about growing flowers from seed or cuttings and help to answer any questions relating to growing flowers.
Will also have a browse through my flower farm to see all the variety of flowers growing in my annual and perennial beds to get you inspired.

DOWN FOR LOVE 🧡 On Tuesday I had the Down for love film crew at my studio filming a second date for a lovely couple. They filmed their entire date here as we created flower crowns then they ventured off for a picnic on my property. This series will on the tv next year so keep an eye out!!

BOUQUET WORKSHOP 💐 My final winter workshop creating cheerful spring bouquets. We had Kylie from Kylie Ormsby • Tauranga Events Photographer join us to take some stunning photos of the workshop and the ladies creating their bouquets.
My next few months are busy in the flower farm planting the flowers for summer and then head into wedding season from October.
Will have some summer workshop for you to come pick your own flowers to play with. Stay tuned for dates towards to end of the year.

Sustainable floristry using spagnum moss and compostable bags rather than flower foam.
Flower foam (oasis) is toxic not only to the florist handling the product but also to the environment when is it put in the rubbish.
When I started as a junior florist I had to moss up containers so it’s nice to return back to moss and not use flower foam. Have been using this technique for over a year after a lot of experimenting with different products.

SweetPea & Jasmine started as a flower farm 12 years ago because when I returned from over 10 years in the UK, I really missed all the amazing varieties of flowers that were available to use in floristry.
I spent a year growing all my favourite flowers from seed and developed my flower farm on our property in rural Tauranga.
It is truly rewarding to be able to pick fresh flowers daily for bouquet orders, workshops and weddings.
Even though it is winter it is perfect to get the hardy annuals in the garden and I am boasting my perennial garden with lots of seedlings that will hopefully always give me flowers.
I’m a self taught gardener but after 12 years have found some tricks that help with germinating seeds, have great products to help with soil health and use bioforce for any bug problems.
