You might have heard that there is a new Thermomix coming out!! The TM7 has been developed and will be released towards the end of the year, with pre-orders now. It looks SO different, yet continues the Thermomix awesomeness!!

What about TM6 owners? The amazing TM6 will remain current and fully accessible to cookidoo, TM6 accessories and servicing and parts, Thermomix is guaranteeing ongoing support of our current machines for at least 10 years from the end of this year, and blades etc. currently remain the same in the newer model). And of course, your consultant support ❤️ The current deal on the last models of TM6 is incredible value!

I, Bronwyn, am stepping back from doing demos and cooking classes etc. this year, only because I am now co-ordinating our homeschool co-op, which is turning out to be a significant amount of work 😆 Its a great big change, which I am thrilled to be able to do, and I remain a passionate Thermomix ambassador - still here for your queries and always keen to share tips and great food ideas with you (and hear yours!). If you need more inspiration in getting even more value out of your thermomix, don’t hesitate to get in touch! Cassia is thriving along in her consultant work, picking up new training on the TM7 and always keen to support people thinking of a little business like hers ❤️ Truly one of the loveliest work teams to be involved in!

Hi everyone! How are you all doing?

Cassia here! Still absolutely LOVING being a Thermomix consultant and so grateful to have my right hand chef in the kitchen cooking with me😂🥰
I started my consulting journey with the plan to pay off my Thermomix but as I realised what a game changer the Thermomix was, and how it helped other people, and how fun it was going and doing cooking demonstrations with other people, I knew that I wasn’t going anywhere!
It also pulled me out of a fog I didn’t know I was living in, after one of my brothers passed away.
As crazy as that sounds, it was definitely a Godsend for me, AND Bronwyn Is actually the one that got me into this gig!♥️

I love and appreciate the support provided by the TLs and above, the training provided, the encouragment, the community, the new friends, the get togethers, and of course the commission and incentives are helpful too😉
But when I see someone who doesn’t really cook, go from doing the bare minimum, to absolutely loving cooking for themselves and their family and doing all sorts of new recipes they never would have tried before, or when I find someone struggling to find the time or energy to do all the cooking they would love to do, and then this machine helps them do it all, I am soooooo happy!!!🥰

It changed so much for me and I so love seeing it change things for others❤️

My family really appreciate all the cooking I do for them now too, and they love helping me cook more too🙌 and being able to work my little business around my family is the absolute best!

So with just over a year in this awesome business, I want to say thanks to everyone who has supported my thermy business!😘

I thought it’d be fun to focus on some of the TM6 modes… there are often so many tips that take something so easy, and make it even better!

Here are some on the Egg Boiler mode…
I mean, it doesn’t get easier than a timed, bring-to-boil setting (and how good are those eggs cooked perfectly every time?!😍)… and you never forget the pot on the stove😆

But, here are some other great ways to use it…
Cook pasta. some brands disintegrate with any stirring, it seems, so put the water in, bring to boil (kettle setting), pop in the pasta (can switch to weigh it if you buy in bulk and don’t know how much is in your jar LOL me 😆), and set to egg boiler - medium is about a normal pasta cooking time (packet directions vary, less time just use a softer egg setting! Or vice versa) 👍leave the MCup out of the lid for this

Boil chopped up potatoes for potato salad. Similar thing to pasta! I find a hard egg boil does it for most potatoes, and def leave the MCup out of the lid for this one too. If the potatoes need some more, just repeat 👍 but so easy and avoid mushy potatoes.

Whole corn cobs! Stand up in the jug with boiling water, voila! This one is also fine to leave the MCup in

Pre-cook your non-pre-cooked sausages. Put in with cold water, choose a med-hard setting (depends upon your sausage size, bigger sausage=“harder” egg setting). You can use your MCup in for this one.

Same thing but heating up party sausages (can you gell I have kids LOL two sausage tips in one post 🤣), add cold water, choose a soft egg setting and let it go 👍🌭 no splitting and no over/under-doing it 🥳 party on!

When Christmas is coming a bit closer and the little people start counting the weeks 😮😁😆 its time to think about the Christmas food!

No matter whether you do a huge Christmas dinner, or maybe the European Christmas Eve, or a very Kiwi BBQ by the beach… its all going to require a little bit of thought and planning!! And its yummy and fun ❤️

Here is a cooking class that we are helping to run, over in TA, in November to help you feel like you’ve got it sorted! A big focus on Gifting, making homemade gifts using your Thermomix, but plenty of festive food ideas too. We always have some tasty fun at a cooking class! 😍

Lunch! And Lunch boxes 😅😬
What a daily challenge!
And I say that as a homeschool parent, not even needing to actually pack lunchboxes daily (of course we still need lunch daily 😆)… trying to get enough food, thats good food, easy to eat and not too messy, organised and packed into that box…! Without too much plastic waste… Eeeeek! Is it possible?!

I have a few lunch things that work so well for us, that having a thermomix to help make completely easily, of course, that I want to throw out there to help you this week with that daily grind - but this is a community effort, people! Please share your tips and tricks and we can all benefit from the “mind hive” 😆 Sharing’s caring!

Corn muffins! Easy as a tin of creamed corn (or even plain), a dozen done. We like feta crumbled onto ours before baking. Zucchini or courgette would also rock this same concept. (Peel the green skin off for fussy children… shhhh)

Pizza scrolls. Or pizza pieces! our top favourite, always, from very plain, to Hawaiian, to greek (feta again LOl with spinach).

“Sushi sandwiches“ easier than rolling and somehow just less fiddly to make, I just leave it whole and avoid the plastic wrap entirely, just got to fit into a sandwich container 👍Tuna and avo usually 😊

Make custard (egg! Protein!) and pop into little tubs, add cocoa when cooking for a choc version. Its really filling 👍

Yoghurt - same thing LOL except not as proteiny… either make plain and can add a blob of fruit puree or jam (treat!) to flavour, or do you know the trick where you can use a packet mix and make it up to 2L with extra milk powder (1C) ? which makes it cheaper, less sweet but still yummy and easy… I do mine overnight in the thermomix jug/bowl directly for such a big batch, too easy 😍

Leftovers! Reheat in thermomix (reheat setting) so you can walk away and do something else in your busy morning and put it into a little thermos sort of flask. Soup or pasta etc. (choose the gentlest stir for something fragile like pasta, it works perfectly for a single batch of reheating!). Other tip - put lunch serving aside AS YOU SERVE DINNER (so technically, not a leftover!) because if you wait to see if anything is left… there might not be! This lets you plan on this healthier and cheaper option for lunch. Trying out nacho beans with a side of corn chips this week - could be on to a winner!

Cook eggs and then when peeled, throw into tm6 with mayo for a quick egg filling. Poach chicken and then shred (with mayo?) for sandwich fillings - add lettuce and its perfect 😊

Hit me with your ideas! 😘

Hot, hot topic! How to save money and time with a Thermomix! Its a no-brainer - once you get going you find yourself saving money on all sorts of things - and you know what they say about “look after the pennies…” It all adds up! My favourites are yoghurt, bread buns and pizza bases, fruity dream icecream (frozen fruit in season and eggs from our chickens make it just about free, for amazing gelato!), sushi and plenty of sauces like teriyaki and peanut satay sauce…
What are your favourites? Do tell, I always like to know more!😊
Next week there is a cooking class on just this in Raglan. Ticket price includes bring a friend (confirming), plentyof yummy tastes, good fun and good company 😆
