📣 July School Holidays, creative fun, needle felting workshop!

Retro Handcrafts is holding a needle felting workshop at Upper Hutt Spinners and Weavers rooms in Trentham.

Book in for my needle felting workshop and make your own fairy⭐️🧚⭐️

You will be shown the basic techniques of needle felting. Your registration includes all the fibres needed to make your own Fairy 🧚

🗓️ Wednesday 15th July 2026

⏰ 10 am to 1:30 pm, with a 1/2 break for lunch, there is a full kitchen at venue.

*** suitable children 8+ years.

💰Cost is $30.00 p/p, for this you will get to take your own Fairy ✨🧚 home and enjoy learning a new skill and meeting new creative people.

Extra kits available to purchase on the day with a 20% discount to class attendees, these will have all you need to begin your needle felting journey at home and will make up another 4 or more Fairies. Eftpos available.

Hello Wool Lovers❣️

Did you know Saturday 13th June 26, is International knit in public day?

What a wonderful way to spread the woolly love and encourage others to engage it this relaxing craft 🧶🪡

Are you part of a group who meet for a regular 'knit n chat' catch up, or like me knit anywhere, anytime kind of knitter?

I would love to see what you're crafting at the moment, maybe some of that amazing yarn from last month's Capital Fibre Fest is itching to get on you're needles, or you're sewing up and adding finishing touches to a garment.

A productive rainy day for me 😀

I grabbed these awesome 'Retro' suitcases on a recent visit to Nelson.

Just painted the insides, now dry they are fill with super soft skeins of handspun wool for this weekends up coming 'The Wonderful Woodville Market', Sunday 7th June, 10am - 2pm, Ross St, Woodville. Just off SH3.

With another Capital Fibre Fest under our hats, the Fibre Fest committee would like to say a huge ⭐️ thank you ⭐️ to all of our awesome traders. Without you, we wouldn't be heading into our 10th year!

Excited to be a part if this event. I have been busy dying sheep locks and will have needle felting kits for sale + registrations for needle felting classes in Upper Hutt.

📣 Calling all crafters!

Retro Handcrafts is going to be at The Wonderful Woodville Market this coming Sunday 6th July 10am - 2pm. 64 Ross Street, Woodville.

I will have needle felting kits and accessories for sale, just perfect for school holiday fun.

🐝I am also a bee keeper and will have bees wax for sale, perfect for making your own candles, balms, furnature polish etc. 🐝

Retro Handcrafts is going to be at Woolville, this event is being held on:
