Now that this has been gifted, I can share! I painted this for a former colleague who has become a dear friend as a little token of appreciation. She left her role of 8 years, sadly without the usual official “goodbye and thank you” from the company, but I wanted to make sure she knew how much she’s valued, and how amazing she is. Some things are just too important to leave unsaid!

I really love making these - first choosing the colours, then working the paint to create the scrummy patterns, mounting them under glass, then into their settings before finishing them into something you can wear and love as much as I do.

I've been playing with colour today!
These "splats" will become gorgeous earrings or pendants available soon in my Felt shop. They give me a chance to experiment with different colour combinations for larger works while creating gorgeous little pieces of original and unique wearable art.

I've been a bit quiet lately – a nasty cold had me knocked down for a bit 🤧 But I'm back, slowly easing into the creative groove again. 💙💚💜
