Yes it’s Friday Talky Bits and we are all set to enjoy the long weekend ☀️

👨‍🚒Huge congratulations to The Waimate Fire Brigade who are celebrating 150yrs of Service

📚Bookarama is on at the Waimate Museum and given I love a vintage book illustration be visiting there at some point over the weekend

🌽🧑‍🌾🪴The Waimate Community Market is happening Sat morning until 12

🤩 and of course we are open 10ish to 2 on Saturday - looking forward to welcoming and seeing lots of visitors to town - and we will be closed on Monday for Labour Day.

So whatever you are up to - enjoy the good weather and have a wonderful time 🥰

HOW GOOD IS THIS!!! 🤩🙌

I love hearing this!

Every day in the shop, I chat with people visiting Waimate - some discovering our town for the very first time, others returning after years away.

And do you know what? They’re genuinely surprised and delighted by what Waimate has to offer these days!

The secret is getting out!! People are loving their visits, discovering all the wonderful things happening here, and plenty are even asking me about what it’s like to MOVE here!

How exciting is that?!

There’s so much to love about our little town, and it’s fabulous to see people noticing, exploring and spreading the word - huge congratulations to Kate at District Life - so good 👌

Waimate, we’ve got a lot to shout about!
