Moody skies, full hearts

Connie and George sealed the deal at in late summer, with low cloud rolling over Lake Hāwea and setting the most dramatic scene.

The brief was whites with fresh greens, layered with fluffy textures and plenty of movement.

The heroes were Hydrangea, garden roses, dahlia, delphinium and gladioli, with olive, chestnut foliage and ammi drifting through layers and adding delicate touches throughout the design.

Proof that a cloudy day can be every bit as beautiful, captured the magic beautifully. And ain't those views second to none! No matter the weather.

Pure happiness right there šŸ¤

Lucy and Hugh's teary I-dos at wrapped in an abundance of whimsical garden florals and ALL the love.

We designed this late spring Love Nest to feel as though it grew right there. Spring blossom, tall delphiniums reaching for the sky, dusky lilac roses and locally grown peonies tumbling softly onto the grass.

Loose, seasonal and completely foam-free (always a big yes from us), with the lake doing what it does best as the ultimate backdrop.
Planned beautifully by Sera at , and Kate from absolutely knocked it out of the park with these insanely beautiful photos.

Gosh, we are lucky to have such incredibly talented humans in our little industry here in Wānaka!

These two had legends had sunshine, blue skies and an explosion of colourful florals at or their beautiful autumn wedding earlier this year.

Kalia and Josh said "I do" on the land where Kalia grew up, so this one was always going to feel like home. šŸ„¹

The brief? No words needed. The Pinterest board said it all, and we were SO in.

From sunrise to sunset, we created intentional floral moments for their special day. Included in our designs were locally grown dahlias and florals grown by and farm (who both also helped with the set up on the day! Full-circle moment right there)

A split arch at the altar, bursting with vivid pinks and purples, with pops of orange and yellow against the lake and golden hills.

Cascading florals over the cocktail bar (which was a vintage truck, how good!). and above the dance floor, colour-blocked floral cloudsā€¦ or as we like to call them, flower disco balls šŸŖ©

These two were an absolute VIBE, and they know how to party. Fun, full of love and exactly the energy we wanted their flowers to match.

For Zoe and Bill, the florals were never decoration.

They were atmosphere. The feeling, the backdrop for their vows of love.

Our brief was to translate the warmth and generosity of a relaxed European garden gathering into a Central Otago high-country wedding.

Sooo, we leaned into locally grown dahlias (yes yes yes), rambling foliage, clouds of hydrangea and scented garden roses. Zoe loved the idea of using a colour palette of bright pastel tones with berry undertones and hints of butter yellow. Plus, incorporating our textured Italian-style pottery urns made these designs feel very Como-esque against the dramatic landscape of Queenstown's mountainscapes.

Light, airy, full of movement. Abundant without feeling heavy, and FULL of love and life, This was one heck of a celebration!

The ultimate queen on her wedding day. We had the privilege of creating and crafting with the most INCREDIBLE blooms for Zoe & Bill's wedding day this past summer.

We had the freedom to create from a brief we couldn't resist. Pastel punches and delicate blooms, made for the most whimsical bridal party florals for Zoe and her gals.
