Hanging out, love having a scribble and playing with some loose marks after working on the tight big ones.

Mixing up the andipodian creatures, not NZs most famous bird, but the Kakapo personality makes up for it, cuddly as a Koala right?🐨

The Piwakawaka studies continue 🐥 I love their company whenever they've joined me on a hike or around home, their checky, friendly, and absolute weapons at dealing to sandflys 🐐
These typically take me between 2.5-5 hours, Im working to build consistency in my practice with them. And yes their available, $150 (including postage) for these will make it easy and I need to release these hatchlings into the wild or my art folders could have overcrowding issues 😅

I like originals because they get messed up in smaller batches 😅 a whole bunch of these cards have chomped corners frustrating but just one of those things I guess..

The world's most intelligent bird with the same capacity for problem solving as a 4 year old human.
Do they use this intelligence to dismantle and try to eat things? Absolutely
Are they fun to have around? They're the best
If your lucky enough to see them I hope you can enjoy the company..
And you aren't being startled by them breaking into and then trying to escape a long drop toilet.
That might be a story for another time 🦜

One of many reasons I drew this whee image and make it available as prints and greeting cards ✉️ sometimes you need to send Kea stories around

This one went out into the wild, and is now settled in its forever home 🏡💖

✈️Did i forget this little guy in my traveling book for a little while?
Yes
Did he get a little background smudgies because of it?
Also yes 🪶
Do I still love him anyways?
Absolutely yes
But Could I claim it as an intentional art technique integral to my process? 🤔

This one was a surprise for a friend with a great, (be it morbid) sense of humor, that apparently runs in their family ☠️

Image 5 is the actual drawing they were expecting to get, once they found some actual pictures of their hound 👻
