Splitting your own firewood is a great way to save money and stay warm, and getting a head start now means it'll be properly seasoned by next year. A few tips to get the most out of your timber:
✔️ Split green (unseasoned) wood now to give it plenty of time to season before next winter
✔️ Always split on a solid base to reduce bounce and improve safety
