💙 That cerulean blue gets me in the happy every time!

And the colourful little pops of the sea creature murrine created by the amazing team at Tabitha's Glass Emporium are just so perfect. 🥰

The kiln is firing back to back these days one tray out the next one in. ✨️💐
🎄The response to the Christmas Crackers has hit a 5 year high - with the change up to fused glass suncatchers having orders flooding in - dont worry though - I planned for this.(sort of 😅)
💜Today, while waiting for the kiln to drop a final 20 degrees, I spent some time marbling the paper for the outer wrappers.
🏡This time of year the entire house becomes my studio.
Studio doing its usual thing around art classes - dining room has become fusing assembly point- kitchen has become paper marbling station - lounge has become final assembly and packing space.
Theres glass, bubble wrap, snaps and ribbon on every available surface. 😂

Orders are still open. $20 each or 6 for $100.

🎄🍷 FUSED & BOOZED! 🍷🎄

You've heard of Paint & Pinot… but how about Fused & Boozed?! 😂

RedlowGypsy is putting a cheeky twist on the classic sip-and-create experience!

Round up your friends for a private evening of glass, giggles and Christmas cheer, creating your very own fused glass Christmas tree tealight holders! 🎄✨

🏡 We come to you! You provide the venue, your favourite people and refreshments. We bring the creative fun!

✨ We'll take your masterpieces away for kiln firing and deliver them back to your host a few days later

And before anyone gets their tinsel in a tangle… 😉 the emphasis is on the FUSED, not the BOOZED! Alcohol is optional, responsible drinking encouraged, and laughter compulsory! 😂🥂

Ok, the post many of you have been waiting for - I'm already receiving messages asking if I'll be doing this again this year - and the answer is of course!! 🎄🎅

Now if you're not ready to hear that Christmas is only 82 days away (11weeks 5days) this is your warning to stop reading here. 😅

🥰But for those of you already thinking ahead and ready to start planning your festive season this post is for you! 🎁

RedlowGypsy Christmas Crackers are back!! 🎄And they have had an overhaul. This year's crackers contain FUSED glass suncatchers. With delicious little glass inclusions all the way from Tabitha's Glass Emporium in Croatia, there are 2 styles to chose from - sweet miniature gardens and deep blue sea. 💐🐠

😎One thing that hasn't changed is the price. This year's cost of living has bitten hard so I'm keeping the prices the same as last year.
$20 each or buy 5 get one free (6 for $100)

These crackers are handmade, from the glass to the marbled paper, its all done right here in my studio. 🎁These make the perfect teacher gifts, workplace secret Santa, that hard to buy for relative, the friend who has everything or just to add a touch of something extra special to your table. 💜✨️

Pre-orders are now open, so get your order in to make sure you dont miss out! 🎅🎄

This afternoon we had our term 3 Young Creators Showcase. 🎨✨️ Celebrating our amazing aspiring artists and the art pieces they have made this past term. Once again the support these kids have from extended family and friends just blew my mind - the turn out was amazing! 🤯
💜✨️Just a week ago this room was a cluttered storage space with bare gib and plaster walls. It transformed beautifully into the RedlowGypsy Gallery space and complimented the ajoining studio space perfectly - giving us plenty of room to display the kids artworks.
😎Enjoy the rest of the holidays kids and we will see you back for term 4 soon!

🎨 And thats a wrap on our term 3 Young Creators art classes! Phew! Its been another full on term of creating and exploring a wide range of mediums - clay, paint, glass, wool and wood. 🌈

Everyone has made a stellar effort and there's a fabulous array of artworks ready to go into our showcase. 💜✨️

😎So while the kids move into holiday mode the hard work begins for me as I get our gallery space painted and set up ready for the end of term celebration.

Looking forward to seeing all our creative families come together to see our term results! 🎨🥰

We have reached the last week of term 3. This is the longest term of the year, and everyone's tired and ready for the holidays. 😴

🎨The Monday Young Creators pulled one out of the bag today and made these incredible acrylic pours - look at the cell detail that came out in these beauties!

My hair dryer is never going to be the same, but its all in the name of art right?! 😅

As a glass artist it goes without saying that ill always include glass in my children's Young Creators programme. 🌈
The best thing about this is - so far every child LOVES working with glass! 💜✨️
This term we made fused glass sun chimes.
😍Today 2 groups assembled their fused pieces by strunging them with beads before hanging them off driftwood and they look amazing!
Can't wait to see them all hanging in the big bay windows of the studio😊

Teaching kids isnt always sunshine rainbows and lollipops.... especially in the depths of winter. 🌈🍭❄️

Winter was hitting my Thursday Young Creators HARD this week. Their little creative batteries were well and truely flat. 🔋🎨

"I'm tiiired", "I don't want to do this", "I don't want to cut with THESE scissors" "I can't find any green" "My glue is too sticky" 🤯

Add in some sniffling, coughing, and general is-it-the-holidays-yet energy, and I had a room full of little people ready for the weekend.

🥰And you know what? Thats OK. A safe creative space also means being allowed to have an off day. Not every week needs to produce a masterpiece. Sometimes creative batteries just need recharging🔋

Primary school teachers - HATS OFF TO YOU. 👒👏 There is clearly some vital ingredient you possess (or perhaps you're missing entirely🤣) that enables you to do this 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. 🍷🍷

My 1 hour today had me declaring it a "TRASH & DASH"

Nope. Don't tidy up.
Mums here.
Just go. 😂😂

💜✨️Here's hoping they all get a restful weekend, shake off the winter bugs, recharge those little batteries and come back next week with their artistic mojo restored. 🎨😘
