Dumaguit's mother, Herminia, inspires his character "Ligaya," symbolizing a woman's love, sacrifices, and joy in family life.
A Fine Arts graduate from Far Eastern University, Dumaguit worked as a graphic designer and visual merchandiser in Saudi Arabia before returning to the Philippines to focus on painting.
