Hello, Monday! Let's start the week with a bit of "Fortune". 😉

🌱 This Corn Plant, aka "Fortune Plant" in the Philippines, is an oldie but goodie in the houseplant industry — Another popular houseplant! 🪴

🌱 Another plant ideal to plant parents who are busy and has histories of neglecting their houseplants.

🌱 One of the best air-purifying houseplants ever! It removes common indoor air pollutants such as:
• Formaldehyde (found in most household objects and cigarette smoke)
• Trichloroethylene
• Benzene (from glue, detergents, cigarette smoke, paint, & furniture wax).

🌱 Water infrequently. Make sure that the soil is dry before watering again.

🌱 For INDOORS: Place the plant in an area with enough light.
For OUTDOORS: Place the plant in an area with shade. DO NOT place under direct sunlight.

• Also known as Alligator Plant or Mexican Hat Plant.
• This is a succulent plant native to Madagascar.
• Their baby plantlets appears on the tips of the large leaves.

🌟 HOW TO CARE FOR THEM:
• Place them in bright but indirect light area of your house if you want to grow them indoors.
• For outdoors, avoid direct afternoon sun.
• Too much direct sunlight may cause leaves to become sunburned.
• They appreciate the same watering schedule that most succulents do! Infrequent & heavy watering.
• For the soil, they want loose, fast-draining soil.
• For the container, make sure it has a drainage for excess water.

You’ll find that growing mother of thousands is simple and mostly carefree – a worthwhile gardening experience with limited care to keep it under control. ❤
