M Occupational Therapy Clinic | The Gentle Space

Design is never just about fitting everything into a room—it is about creating a place where people feel seen, supported, and safe.

With only 32 square meters, the challenge was to maximize every inch while putting the needs of children at the center of the design. The layout thoughtfully transitions from the reception and waiting area to the main therapy space through a low mirrored glass partition—providing separation, enhancing the sense of openness, and serving as an essential therapeutic tool.

At the heart of the clinic is the therapy area, where little milestones are celebrated every day, complemented by a calm corner for children to regulate and recharge, along with integrated storage and a comfortable restroom.

Inspired by the Hygge philosophy, we embraced warm earth tones to create a comforting environment that feels less like a clinic and more like a place of belonging. Gentle pops of primary colors support learning and play without overwhelming young minds.

The Gentle Space—where comfort nurtures growth, one little step at a time.

Designed as a contemporary tropical residential compound, Casa Corvera brings together the renovation of Casa Uno and the proposed Casa Dos and Casa Tres, connected through thoughtfully planned communal spaces that celebrate comfort, connection, and everyday living.

What’s cooking, HADS? 👀✨

2025 kept us fully booked—with multiple design projects, 3 major constructions, and several smaller builds. And 2026? We’ve been quietly working behind the scenes—planning, designing, and preparing projects set to rise mid-year.

From meetings and site visits to drawings, permits, and everything in between—this is just a glimpse of our everyday.

A few challenges came along the way, but our commitment to quality always stands.

As we mark the completion of 1,200 hours of on-the-job training, we proudly celebrate the journey of our OJTs as they conclude their training.

Throughout their time with us, they were immersed in real-world architectural practice—engaging in drafting works and participating in live construction projects. From site visits to design development, technical drawings, building permit processing, and actual construction, they experienced the full cycle of the profession. They contributed to several projects, including a two-storey boarding house, a one-storey with mezzanine residential renovation, and a two-storey residential renovation and expansion. They also assisted in detailed drawings for gate and fencing, residential projects, and more, while showcasing their creativity through 3D perspectives and architectural photo and video rendering.

Their journey culminated in a final project, where they developed conceptual designs and studies for two actual projects handled by the firm—reflecting both their growth and learning.

As they complete their training, we extend our gratitude for their contributions. Their efforts have supported the firm in delivering projects and have become part of our shared growth.

At Hygge Architecture + Design Studio, we believe in giving back and paying it forward. Each project is an opportunity not only to design and build, but also to mentor aspiring architects. While teaching is challenging, it is equally rewarding—to witness young talents grow and to learn from them in return.

We look forward to continuing this cycle of mentorship.
