FOR THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS, A JOB IS ALSO A STEP TOWARD THEIR DREAMS! 🍔
Working while studying can be challenging, but for many young Filipinos, it can also be a way to gain experience, support their education, and prepare for the future. ❤️
At McDonald’s Philippines, working students make up around 70% of its 75,000-strong workforce. With flexible scheduling, many students are able to balance their jobs with their studies.
And their hard work is paying off.
Around 4,000 crew members graduate from college every year, according to data shared by the company.
But the learning doesn’t stop inside the classroom. Employees across different levels also have access to training and development programs.
In 2024, McDonald’s Philippines invested ₱84 million in upskilling its people.
The company also continues to give employees opportunities to explore their interests beyond their regular roles.
This August, its Crew-ators employee creator program is featuring 12 crew members from Cebu, who will undergo six months of training, mentorship, and creator development while serving as employee ambassadors.
Meanwhile, the latest PSA data showed that 50.66 million Filipinos were employed in June, with accommodation and food service activities recording the largest increase in employment at +481,000.
A STUDENT WORKING A SHIFT TODAY COULD BE A COLLEGE GRADUATE BUILDING THEIR DREAM CAREER TOMORROW. ✨
