Awareness Post 🚨
I know this post was long due but had me contemplating whether to post this matter or not. I recently worked on a design project for someone named Yann Ruby. After completing the work, I was blocked and ghosted without proper feedback or payment. When I managed to get in touch via phone, I was told my design wasn’t liked. Instead of addressing concerns or discussing revisions, I was completely cut off.
Following this, I decided to block her through her GCash number to prevent any further interaction.
As creatives, we dedicate time, effort, and skill to deliver quality work. Being treated unfairly like this impacts not only our livelihood but also mutual trust in collaborations.
This is a reminder to fellow designers and freelancers: always secure contracts, take upfront payments, and stay vigilant about red flags. Let’s support each other and ensure fairness in our industry.
