"RFS: Need funds for lola's meds"

When I was starting out, I used to scroll through online stores selling resin materials and thought to myself, "I'll be buying a set in time."

Each day, I was immersing myself into the art of resin and actually joined resin communities here in Facebook.

There, I learned more.

I got to see different techniques. I also knew stories close to heart. Stories which will soon change one's life.

There was a woman selling all her supplies. She said that it was for her grandma's medicine and I suddenly felt the connection. I felt that I have to buy that set and so I did.

It was as if I was buying meds for my late grandma had I have the chance to. How I wish I make her proud everyday.

Those resin supplies gave me more reasons to go on. And now, I am paying it forward to whoever might need it.

To you who have reached this part, I am proud of you. May you encounter more reasons to go on and may you spread happiness and love wherever it may be.

Likas sa ating mga Pilipino ang pagiging masiyahan at matatag sa kabila ng mga pagsubok. Nakakalungkot mang isipin ngunit tila ba pinadadapa tayo ng mga bagyong dumarating sa ating buhay. Nariyang tayo ay kumakaharap sa banta ng pandemya habang nakikipagsapalaran sa araw-araw, ngunit hindi pa rin nawawala sa atin ang pagbangon mula rito.

Ang aking likhang sining ay sumisimbolo sa pag-asa para sa ating lahat. Sa kabila ng mga bagyong humahagupit, magpapakita ang buwan upang magbigay liwanag sa dilim at tayo ay muling babangon at masisilayan ang ganda ng isang panibagong umaga.
