Even during my early years in a Punk Rock band, my Rockabilly soul was already there. Ako si RJ. Lumaki ako sa Punk Rock kasama ang aking 1950's Rock n' Roll na kaluluwa. I write, play and record songs in my free time. Right now I’m working on my first solo EP. This page is where I share my music journey.

I was in a Punk Rock band when I was 16, covering bands like The Casualties, Rancid and Lower Class Brats.

But when I turned 17, I found myself falling deeply in love with the Oldies, especially 1950s Rock n’ Roll. That’s when I discovered Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran and of course, Elvis Presley. And then… Boom!

From that point on, my music library was filled with Punk Rock and Rockabilly. Eventually, without even realizing it, I became Psychobilly (Punk Rock + Rockabilly Hybrid).

Now I’m 39 years old and I finally understand that this wasn’t just a phase. It was who I really was all along.
