Our family has always been fond of food since then but we never really thought of turning this fondness into business.. not until the pandemic happened. Most of us in the family were greatly affected by it (eg. loss of income, retrenchment, etc) which pushed us to think of something we could do together to earn. We started out with the Honey-glazed Turbo Chicken and dressed chicken as our primary products, delivering them house-to-house to friends during the ECQ. Few days after we started rolling, the pastries and the bottled products (bagoong, chili sauce) followed.. and a week after, we accepted the challenge to provide food packs for 21 days at Barangay Buhangin Proper. That’s then when we realized that there’s a lot we can do together.. so we expanded our menu to variety of food products (pastries, food trays, food packs, bottled products, and raw products).. and that’s how Phat Food Kitchen came to be.. (Phat - adj., excellent; and Phat Food - ‘pun’ for fast food).
Good food brought us all together and in return, we also let our clients experience excellent food with affordable prices. God is good! :)
