Lately, I've been feeling the need to reset.
Maybe you've felt it too.
That quiet feeling of being tired—not necessarily from work, but from carrying too much.
Too many things.
Too many memories.
Too many “baka kailanganin ko pa.”
Too many expectations.
Too many things we've been holding onto simply because letting go feels difficult.
Sometimes, we keep things because they remind us of a certain time in our lives.
Sometimes, we keep feelings for the same reason.
Because they mattered.
But I'm slowly learning that letting go doesn't mean it didn't matter.
It simply means it has already served its purpose.
We don't have to keep everything just to prove that it was important.
We can keep the memories without keeping every object attached to them.
We can appreciate the past without carrying all of it into the future.
So maybe this is your sign to start small.
Declutter a drawer.
Let go of something you've been keeping “just in case.”
Forgive yourself for outgrowing an old version of you.
Make a little space.
Because maybe a reset isn't about starting your life all over again.
Maybe it's simply about making room for what's next.
And if all you can do today is let go of one little thing—
that's already enough. 🤍
