where memory takes form

and when your memory reaches the fading border of 𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴— there exists a place
not drawn on any map, most do not even know of.
old whispers from filipino lore say that before words had voices, emotions 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘺 across the world.
with the wind, they passed through fields of memories;
restless and uncontained…
they drifted endlessly until they found their way to 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻.
they are then met by 𝘥𝘪𝘸𝘢,
a presence like the stillness between heartbeats,
it gathers what the world forgets to name.
liknayan allows the invisible to retain form,
echoing the spirit where emotions were never simply described but felt to existence.
was it love… grief? perhaps joy?
what was once too heavy to carry becomes
something that can be held, admired.
where the unspoken seeks another form.
and so, when someone encounters a piece from liknayan,
that is not merely an object, it is a 𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 of something once unnamed now given shape so now it no longer has to remain in silence.
