In Ikaw ang batok nga makita sa tumoy sa tinapay, each character fights to break the boundary by convincing the other to sit in their chair — a symbolic seat of control and victory. The tension rises not just from the battle of wills, but from the silent question: who truly holds the power when the rules are unwritten and the stakes are unseen? This compelling piece reveals the fragile balance of trust and manipulation, where courage and cunning collide in a test of human nature.

Two contenders. One line divides them — a symbolic battleground for power and ideals. In this compelling devised work, a determined 1st year student faces off against a seasoned 3rd year, each trying to become president of their society. The young challenger fights to unseat what he calls a corrupt leadership, bringing fresh brilliance and hope, while the veteran claims it’s his rightful time to lead, having paid his dues and eyeing the rewards that come with the position. Through a tense simulation of election, Ang Langgam nga Gipaikyas sa Ilaga explores ambition, justice, and the complex dance of power in a community striving for change.

At the edge of a water well — Atabay (Bisaya), Kanwah (B’laan), Bualan (Maguindanaon) — three young lives intersect: a Christian, a Moro, and an Indigenous youth, each shaped by the unspoken legacies of conflict and cultural memory. In this sacred, shared space, water becomes more than survival — it is a vessel of history, tension, and fragile reconciliation. ATABAY / KANWAH / BUALAN, written by Professor Al-Nezzar B. Ali and originally directed by IGP, explores the turbulent inner worlds of adolescents growing up in the shadow of Mindanao’s long-standing divisions. The well becomes both witness and question: Can the same waters that sustain also heal the scars passed down through generations?

Joe vents his frustration regarding the art people are taught to admire and praise. An artist has a prospective buyer coming to look at art. The artist, his wife and Mr. Wentworth discuss the meaning of art and what emotions are released. Museums are where art goes to die. They are not springing forth with life and emotion—the old classics of the world.
