One of the most meaningful details of our exhibit was the plaques, customized with our easel logo, made not just as awards, but as symbols of gratitude, growth, and every step of the journey.
Each exhibitor received an Exhibitor Plaque as a simple but heartfelt appreciation for being part of our anniversary show.
The Act of Becoming Award was given to the student who have been with us nonstop since the DAY 1 in the studio, the student who witnessed the beginning, stayed through the process, and grew alongside us.
The Founderโs Appreciation Award holds an even deeper story. It was given to the students who were with me long before there was an art studio, back in 2018, during my HOME-BASED PAINTING WORKSHOPS. Those were the years when I walked under the sun and rode tricycles from morning until afternoon, going from one house to another, carrying my pamasahe, brushes, and dreams bigger than my circumstances.
They were there during the uncertain beginnings, when all I had was passion, persistence, and hope.
They became one of the most important plot twists of my journey, an essential part of the story that shaped where I am now. Their trust, support, and presence through the years mean more than words can fully express.
I have been teaching painting as since 2013 (I was a volunteer back then), and now, 13 years later, standing inside our very own art studio, and celebrating our anniversary exhibit here in SM feels surreal. It is a reminder that every small beginning matters, every struggle has purpose, and every person who stays becomes part of your becoming.
