My signature is already added still improving my mei(signature), this was my very first time making tsuba.
I will now proceed to brown rusting and boiling it into black tea.

Another blade is done‼️

Here is our commissioned kiridashi, which was already received by our client.

The blade is made of hand-forged high-carbon tool steel, engraved with a serpent motif, polished, and burnished. The blade is sharpened using traditional sword polishing stones, the scabbard is made of seasoned gmelina wood with stepped wrapped stingray skin in a custom teal green finish, while the handle is also fully wrapped in semi-polished stingray skin in a black dye finish, and the mountings are made of horn.

Hi there👋,
We’re excited to share this custom-made kiridashi by Doc Ernest, named “Ophiuchus.” Inspired by Ophiuchus(the Serpent Bearer) from the manhwa The Return of the Disaster-Class Hero, this piece blends mythology, symbolism, and craftsmanship.

The design features a finely engraved serpent entwined around a Rod of Aesculapiusstyle motif, the timeless symbol of medicine. Each detail is carefully considered to reflect both meaning and artistry.

As of now the next stage, which includes refining the blade collar, followed by sharpening and full polishing of both the blade and its engravings.

Hi everyone👋👋, it's been a long time. I've already finished a koshirae (mountings) for this tanto, but here we are; we always think of a better design, so I decided to carve a new wood for Saya and polish it with dried rough leaves (as-is/is-is). As for design, I will still follow this Fuemaki Nuri design, but with a narrow one.

Here is a shirasaya i'd made for the tanto of one of our fellow blade brothers Ram Maquimot of Batangas Armory
with sayagaki or writings on the scabbard indicating the information about the blade. the scabbard is also handmade and polished using a Is-is/As-is leaves and burnish using deer antler.

Rainy morning everyone 🌧️
Nearly finish scabbard fuemaki style ishime coat, the horn fittings are not yet glued I just attached it
I'll be making the menuki next then tsukamaki .
