which line did you land on? if her mood doesn't fit any of these, tell us about her and we'll gather the rest.

Statement piece "Luna". Soft grey and cream palette, irregular silhouette, no two alike.

Care instructions: no water, no misting, no direct sunlight unless she chooses it herself. Prefers belly rubs over compliments. Will not hold a pose. Sheds year-round and feels no guilt about it. Structurally sound, emotionally unavailable, holds her shape beautifully and has absolutely no interest in being looked at.

Also pictured: a protea, preserved hydrangea, gomphrena and phalaenopsis bouquet. 🤪

Florist math: the part nobody posts.

A ₱1,800 bouquet looks like a good sale. Then you take out the flowers, the wrap, and the delivery you didn't charge for, and divide what's left by the hours it actually took.

In this example, that's ₱120 an hour. Before wastage. Before rent. Before the electricity your flower fridge runs on.

Even Dangwa puts a price on the florist's hands. Their custom bouquets include a labor fee. Yours should too.

This isn't a talent problem. It's a math problem, and math problems have tools.

okay here's the quiet part nobody tells you before you start a flower business —

it's not the bouquets. it's the 11pm supplier texts. it's costing out a wedding order three times because you got it wrong the first two. it's realizing "I'm creative" and "I run a business" are two completely different jobs, and nobody hands you a manual for the second one.

school teaches you the flowers. nobody teaches you the pricing, the taxes, the client who ghosts after you've already bought the stems.

I learned all of it the hard way so you don't have to.

Why do the prettiest ones always fight back? 😅

06/07/2026

I thought I was starting a flower business. I was WRONG. 🌿
What I actually built was a habit of hiding.

Every arrangement got carried by hand out of a home studio corner — no storefront, no team, just full workdays followed by late nights with stems and wire. It was easier to let the flowers speak. Safer than stepping in front of the camera myself.

For years, The Wild Flora felt polished even when I didn't. I told myself the work should speak for itself. Some of that was humility. A lot of it, if I'm honest, was fear.

But swipe through and you'll see it — people were never just ordering flowers.

They were responding to a way of seeing.

My way. The color choices, the wrapping, the choice to let things stay a little wild instead of stiff and symmetrical. That perspective was the actual product all along.

So here I am. In frame, for once — hands full of blooms, still the only one doing this from start to finish. 🤍

Ten thousand stems later, still hands-on with every single one.
Save this for the day you're ready to start your own thing. And if any of it hit home, I'd love to know!

You don't need a business plan. You need to just f*ck around and find out.

I didn't wait until I "knew enough" to start this biz. I just started arranging, messed up, charged too little, learned anyway.

That's the whole secret nobody tells you — there isn't a clean version of starting. You figure it out by doing it badly first.
I put everything I wish I knew on day one into a free checklist.

Nothing elaborate. Just cymbidium orchids, sunflowers, moss, and a broken vessel that (I) refused to be discarded 😬
