To all the mothers - by birth, by choice, or by heart…

Before we ever held blueprints, you were already building foundations.

Before we ever poured concrete, you had already poured patience.

Before we ever installed walls, you had already put up with ours.

At Obra Ni Juan, we know craftsmanship when we see it. And moms? You’re the master builders of love and life with no hidden charges, unlimited overtime, and almost zero complaints… You designed childhoods, engineered dreams, and renovated broken hearts long before we made it trendy with reclaimed wood and open-floor plans.

You taught us that the strongest structures aren’t made of steel and cement, but of kindness, grit, and 5AM breakfasts. You’ve proofed us against life’s storms better than any weather-resistant coating ever could.

As someone who’s worked abroad, we totally get it.. No matter how great life is out there, nothing beats the simple joys of home 🏡 I mean, where else can you enjoy “taho” in your PJs, feel the warm breeze of the province, and wake up to the sound of a rooster 🐓instead of an alarm clock?

But in all seriousness, there’s just something special about being in your own hometown. And when you have a home to call your own? Now that’s next-level relaxation 😌

The peace, the comfort, the pure joy of knowing you belong is something you can’t put a price on (well… technically, you can, but you get what I mean).

Today, another client abroad finally said, “Enough of just dreaming, it’s time to make it happen!” No more waiting, no more “one day”… And they took the first step, and we at Obra Ni Juan are beyond excited and honored to bring their retreat home to life.
